Its operating concept, simple design and crystal-clear reception contributed significantly to the popularity of the original Hamburg car radio. For the new edition, we adopted the styling of the original model, but at the same time gave the radio modern multicolour lighting for the LCD display.

The key labels, which were then still illuminated with light bulbs, are now being replaced by modern and durable warm white LEDs. This lighting can also be activated via the vehicle lighting when the car radio is switched off. Thanks to the Blaupunkt Codem FM RDS tuner and DAB+ digital tuner, first-class reception remains a strength of the new Youngtimer car radio.

New are the multimedia interfaces for modern Apple® devices and USB mass storage media for playing music or charging mobile phones. Of course, hands-free calling is also supported.
