Now we present the reinterpretation of the popular 1-DIN car radio and combine the design of the 80s model with new technologies and features. The result is the Blaupunkt "Hamburg SQM 23 DAB". The simple design and crystal-clear reception were key factors in the popularity of the original Hamburg car radio.

So in this new version, we have taken on the styling of the original model, but at the same time, we have given the radio a modern Variocolour illumination for the LC display. The buttons that were previously illuminated with light bulbs are now replaced with modern and durable warm white LEDs. This lighting can also be activated via the vehicle's lighting even when the car radio is turned off.

Thanks to Blaupunkt Codem FM RDS tuner and DAB+ digital tuner, the new Youngtimer car radio remains a strength. New are the multimedia interfaces for modern Apple devices and USB mass storage devices for music playback or charging the mobile phone. The new model also supports Bluetooth audio streaming from apps such as a music player or streaming service like Spotify on the mobile phone. With the help of the voice assistant on the mobile phone such as Siri, Google, or Alexa, you can access the mobile phone without having to hold it. Of course, hands-free calling is also supported.

Just like USB, Apple iPod, or Bluetooth can be selected directly, a button on the device can be programmed via the menu to start your favorite source. The device settings are saved permanently, even when the battery is disconnected - although this is no longer necessary thanks to the minimized standby power consumption to protect the battery.
